James Bates Brannan Groover LLP is a Georgia based full-service business law firm delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal services for individuals and businesses.

The design concept for their new Atlanta office started with an acknowledgement that private offices would have to be located internally as well as along the floor’s periphery. The offices include standardized sit-stand furniture solutions that are flexible for different work styles. Additionally, casual, unassigned workspaces—from upscale banquette seating to clustered conversational seating—allow for quick meetings or simply a change of scenery. A custom glass office front system was created to maintain separation for acoustic privacy while drawing natural light into the interior of the office space, providing the benefits of natural light in the workplace for more employees. Several glass-front conference rooms support large-group meetings and can open up to connect to a spacious common food service and event space with outdoor terraces. 

The final design solution relies on simple and elegant finishes to provide a sense of sophistication and place. Entering from the elevator lobby, a long dramatic entrance with elegant white marble flooring and laser cut wood screens that draws your eye into a custom reception desk and defines the reception area. The circulation zone around the floor is emphasized by its beautiful wood floor, which is reminiscent of residential design, light colored walls and ambient lighting.
