Schoolhouse Brewery
When Schoolhouse Brewery moved into their new space, they reached out to Planning Interiors to assist in the design of their new brewery and 7-barrel brewhouse.
In keeping with their name, the client wanted to create an office and brewery space with a “schoolhouse” theme throughout, while utilizing both closed and open layout areas. We created a flow through the space as if you were walking through the school halls. The door of the owners’ office is labeled “Principal’s Office” and their desks are adorned with “Mr. Monti” & ‘Mr. Waller” nameplates. The conference room resembles a class room, where employees gather to share and learn about all thing’s beer. The patio is designed to feel like an adult recess for employees and customers to enjoy their time in. Other themed areas in the brewery include the library & music room, which add to the appeal for use as a unique place to hold private events.
With the brewery itself, we made sure there was space for all 7-brewing barrels & fermentation equipment, while allowing room for small tours to pass through. Cheers!
