Planning Interiors’ project scope for Ballard Spahr namely focused on renovating the main “client-focused” areas. By updating finishes, furnishings and technology we were able to bring the brand image up to today’s standards of a high-end law firm. The previous space was a very traditional, dark and heavy environment.

We wanted to bring more natural light into the space as well as a bright and clean design aesthetic. We opened up the space by demolishing unused rooms, creating clean design elements and removed traditional furnishings. We added sculptural art and art niches as well as an updated and upgraded lighting package. All conference rooms now have automated shades and audio/video equipment to suite the client’s needs for presentations as well as video conferencing. This new space has increased employee morale and confidence in the brand, while also creating increasing the ambiance for their clients.
